Mettler Entwickler AG has been awarded the exciting contract by Nova Property Fund Management AG to redesign the Waechter site. Two modern residential buildings are now being built there, promising contemporary living.
In addition, the existing building at Feldeggstrasse 23 will undergo extensive refurbishment and remodelling. This project will not only impress with its architectural originality, but also with the lovingly designed green spaces around the buildings and in the inner courtyard, which will offer an oasis of peace and beauty in the midst of the urban hustle and bustle.
The area’s charming name transports you to a bygone era and tells the story of its former inhabitants: a tranquil low-rise building and a picturesque wooden barn from the 1960s once graced the inner courtyard. These buildings were the home of Karl Waechter AG, whose bustling activity filled the area with life. This historical heritage gives the location a unique identity and creates a fascinating link between past and future.
The Waechter site will soon be a new home for a vibrant community, featuring 43 charming apartments and three inspiring studios. With a versatile mix of 1½- to 4½-room apartments, the site will offer space for people with a wide range of lifestyles and needs. An underground car park with 14 parking spaces will provide additional convenience. A further six parking spaces will be created outside, supplemented by a special visitor car park.
