«Unterdorf» residential and commercial building
In Sirnach, southern Thurgau, an innovative residential and commercial building is being built under the leadership of Mettler Entwickler AG; the project was initiated by EW Sirnach AG.
On the ground floor, the building combines plastered brickwork with large areas of glazing, while the upper floors are designed with rear-ventilated timber façades and dark window elements. This project combines modern design with functional features and will make a striking addition to Sirnach’s landscape.
There are two commercial units on the ground floor of the new building, including a new Coop store. On the first to third floors, 19 modern rental apartments with 2½ to 5½ rooms will be built. The spacious roof terraces and loggias of the apartments on the top floor, surrounded by attractive, green, non-walkable roof gardens, are particular highlights. This urban oasis elegantly combines living, commerce and nature, all in the heart of Sirnach.
