«Ahornpark» residential development
Mettler Entwickler AG has delivered the charming «Ahornpark» residential development, consisting of five apartment blocks situated in the southern part of the plot. The blocks are all connected by an underground car park that offers convenient access.

The «Ahornpark» residential development, situated in an idyllic location on the newly developed Ahornstrasse 4-12 in the northern part of Uznach, offers a perfect mix of accessibility and living comfort. The location's family-friendly credentials are underscored by the nursery and primary school, both of which are within easy walking distance. In addition, the lively centre of Uznach, with its extensive shopping facilities, is just a short four-minute walk away. The development is characterised by its excellent location, high building quality, modern floor plans and a relaxed building layout.

Sustainable construction meets accessibility
The buildings in the project were constructed using the solid construction method, making use of brickwork and, where structurally necessary, concrete. The exterior façades were designed as compact façades with external thermal insulation, complemented by generous glass panels with high-quality plastic-metal frames and triple insulating glazing. In addition, all apartments fulfil the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act (Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz), which ensures accessibility and comfort for all residents.
Environmental awareness at the heart of the design
When planning and designing our project, sustainability and energy efficiency were major considerations. Various key components were integrated to achieve this high energy standard. These include excellently insulated building elements, triple glazing, geothermal probes and low-temperature underfloor heating. In addition, the use of energy-efficient household appliances helps to promote an environmentally friendly lifestyle, which is of great importance in «Ahornpark». These measures reflect our commitment to creating housing that is sustainable for both the environment and the residents.
