Conversion of «Davidstrasse 21»

into a hotel

AGRB, the owner of the property at Davidstrasse 21 in St. Gallen, entrusted Mettler Entwickler AG with an exciting project: the conversion of a former office building into a modern hotel.

This property, which has a lower ground floor, semi-basement, four upper floors and two attic floors, was converted into stylish hotel rooms for the Sorell Group. The Sorell Hotel City Weissenstein, currently located opposite Davidstrasse 21, planned to expand its existing offering by 32 additional rooms.

We delivered 32 contemporary rooms, 20 of which are specially equipped with a kitchenette for long-term stays. Each room comes with all the modern comforts, including air conditioning and ventilation system, minibar, Nespresso coffee machine, TV, media hub, Wi-Fi, a safe with integrated sockets, a desk and a rain shower. These facilities guarantee a thoroughly pleasant and comfortable city break. Two multifunctional seminar rooms have also been established in the basement of the building, which can be used by both hotel guests and external visitors, emphasising the flexibility and versatility of the project.
