«ALPINE INN»

In 2015, Mettler Entwickler AG acquired this striking property in Davos. In consultation with the cantonal heritage authorities, a well thought-out concept was developed to include second homes and a modernised hotel.

In the course of this renovation, the existing hotel rooms were refurbished, the technical facilities were brought up to date and the top floor was skilfully extended to accommodate additional hotel rooms and second homes. An extension made way for a modern replacement building. Despite all these changes, the characteristic appearance of the listed building has been fully preserved.

We have succeeded in entering into an important partnership with Kappeler Gastro AG, a renowned and owner-managed hotel operator. For almost two decades, Kappeler Gastro AG has been managing a host of restaurants, hotels and mountain lodges in Switzerland’s most idyllic holiday regions under the brand name «Hüttenzauber». And now, with the «ALPINE INN» the company is taking an exciting step, operating a hotel that is not run under the established «Hüttenzauber» brand for the very first time.

Stylish hotel rooms provide a retreat

The hotel comprises a total of 48 freshly designed and stylish rooms, including a generously equipped penthouse suite. These rooms are a unique blend of serenity, the impressive splendour of the Grisons mountain landscape and the trendy town of Davos.

The place to be

The «living room», as Bar 1908 is affectionately known, is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee in the afternoon or a cocktail in the evening. Here, patrons young and old meet to socialise and enjoy the cosy atmosphere together.

Activities for everyone

Skiing and snowboarding skills can be put to the test in six different ski areas. With over 100 km of classically groomed trails and 75 km of skating trails, there is a virtually limitless world for cross-country skiers to explore. There is even a kids’ cross-country course with 12 stations for the little ones.
